AMD will unveil RX 8000 series cards at CES 2025

A new report claims that AMD plans to introduce the RX 8000 series graphics cards at CES 2025.

According to this report, AMD will unveil RDNA 4 in the first half of 2025. Two RDNA 4 GPUs, Navi 44 and Navi 48, are currently in development and are expected to be released in 2025. The company has not yet released an official statement about its upcoming product line.

Although there hasn't been much news lately, it looks like AMD will keep quiet until RDNA 4 is released in early 2025. According to Kepler_L2's source, the company wants to introduce its next-generation graphics cards at the CES event.

The AMD Navi 44 GPU is positioned as the entry-level replacement for the Navi 33 series, similar to the RX 7600 series cards. On the other hand, the Navi 48 GPUs offer similar performance to the Navi 31 while offering higher power efficiency. In addition to being cheaper than the best RDNA 3 GPUs, these GPUs should compete with Radeon RX 7900 series cards at a lower cost.

Nvidia will likely join AMD in the race with GeForce RTX 50 series cards by then. The company is expected to launch higher-end versions such as the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, followed by mid-range options in the following months. We'll have to wait and see how AMD stacks up its RDNA 4 lineup against Nvidia and Intel. Mid-range options will be the company's main focus on GPUs, which is likely to lead to a greater focus on value and price.
