Araghchi: We are not afraid of increasing tension in the region

In this conversation, Kamikawa also reminded of the encouraging assistance of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the affected people during the Great East Japan Earthquake and praised and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Araghchi as the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Japan in those days to help the earthquake victims. .

Referring to his country's desire to develop bilateral relations between Tehran and Tokyo, as well as the continuation of regional cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Japanese foreign minister expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation and consultations in the new era.

The foreign minister of our country thanked the Japanese counterpart for the call and congratulated him, while referring to his first interview as foreign minister with the Japanese news agency Kyodo, and stated that Iran's new policy is to expand relations with the whole world, especially East Asia.
