Eviralnews, quoted by Isna, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban discussed bilateral relations and regional and global issues.

Anatolia news agency reported: Erdogan told Orban in a secret meeting on the sidelines of the NATO leaders' meeting in America that Turkey is continuing its peaceful efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war and Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Erdoğan also stressed that the international community should support its efforts to ensure peace in these regions.

Relations between Turkey and Hungary were upgraded to the level of strategic partnership in 2013 after the establishment of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council. In recent years, friendly relations between the two countries have accelerated in all areas.

Last December, the two countries celebrated the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
