Jamaica's explanation about Price's withdrawal from the Olympic 100 meters

According to Tasnim news agency, Ian Kelly, the head of the Jamaican athletes' convoy, explained about the withdrawal of Fraser Price, the three-time Olympic champion, from the 100 meters semi-final race at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France).

Initially, the media reported that the security forces located next to the Stade de France warm-up area did not allow the Jamaican athlete to enter the area because Fraser Price entered the stadium alone and not on the team bus. The publication of this news followed the anger of the fans.

Ian Kelly said: Fraser-Pryce was allowed to enter the warm-up track, but through a different gate. It is not true that he was not allowed to enter the stadium. Unfortunately, he was unable to compete due to an injury sustained during the final warm-up.
