The Russian Foreign Minister added: The previous meeting between Russia, Iran, Turkey and Syria was useful, but the parties could not agree on the next steps.

Lavrov also expressed hope that there will be a dialogue between Damascus and the Syrian Kurds.

The Russian Foreign Minister said: The Syrian government believes that it is necessary to clearly define the process of withdrawal of Turkish forces. Ankara is ready for this. Specific parameters have not yet been agreed upon.
