Liverpool's record breaking after 33 years with former head coach Jahanbakhsh

Today, in their first game of the new season at home, Liverpool managed to overcome Brentford with a score of 2-0. Arne Aschlot became the first Liverpool manager in 33 years to win his opening two league games as Liverpool beat Ipswich and Brentford.

The Reds of Anfield last won the opening two league games in 1991 under the guidance of Scottish Graeme Souness.

Also, Liverpool had as many clean sheets in the two games under Slott's supervision as Klopp had in his last 17 games in the Premier League.
