Pashinyan: We want a corridor, but not as Baku wants

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said regarding Erdoğan's statement that “just as we went to Karabakh, we will go to Israel” said: Armenian intelligence agencies were aware of Turkey's involvement. I don't want to talk about the painful events of the past, but I can only say that we have officially said this in the past during the 44-day war.

He added: “Our army and intelligence saw Turkish flags, Turkish army soldiers, Turkish commandos, and high-ranking officers in various places, and let's not forget that Azerbaijan-Turkey military exercises were held on a large scale before the 44-day war.”

The Prime Minister of Armenia stated that 16 fighter planes and pilots were present during the war and said: They were served by Turkish personnel.

He also said regarding Armenia's participation in the COP29 environmental meeting in Baku this fall: We have not made a decision yet. We will make a decision at the right time. We have no decision yet. This decision depends on the overall situation, processes and atmosphere.

The Prime Minister of Armenia also said about the Zangzor Corridor: We are ready to accept the Zangzor Corridor, which connects Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan, but this corridor should be under the sovereignty of Armenia and we should not be treated humiliatingly.
