Tennis star job offer to Guardiola

According to Tasnim news agency, the Wimbledon tennis tournament – the third Grand Slam of the tennis season – had a special guest yesterday (Saturday); Pep Guardiola.

The head coach of the Manchester City football team, who is spending his summer vacation, went to the All England Tennis Club in London with his wife and daughter to watch the crucial battle between Novak Djokovic, the most decorated tennis player in the world, and Alexey Popirin.

Pep watched the game from the Royal Box Center Court platform alongside celebrities such as 1997 Wimbledon champion Conchita Martinez, 2003 runner-up Mark Philippousis and former England coach Roy Hodgson. Before this game, Guardiola watched the match between Alexander Zverev, the fifth ranked tennis player, and Cameron Nouri from Great Britain, which had an interesting side.

After seeing Guardiola on the platforms, Zorev pointed to him and said: “It is an honor to play in this beautiful field and against the Royal Box, where we have a wonderful guest today.” It was a bit stressful for me to be watched by a football legend like Pep Guardiola. However, I thank him for coming here. It was really an honor for me.

The German star then offered Guardiola to go back to the Bundesliga once again and take charge of his former team, a comment that drew laughter from him and those around him, especially as Bayern Munich recently hired Vincent Kompany as their head coach. Zorev said: I think Bayern Munich needs a coach!

The No. 5 tennis player in the world finally had a job offer for Guardiola. He said to the former head coach of Barcelona: “If you are tired of football, you can come and train me whenever you want.”

Guardiola, while smiling, rejected the German star's invitation with a gesture of his hand.
