It is expected that this company will soon announce the specifications of its next generation graphics cards. According to a new rumor, the base frequency of GeForce RTX 5090 will be close to 2.9 GHz.

The source of this rumor is Chiphell forum user Panzerlied, who previously revealed more information about Nvidia's Blackwell series of cards.

In a topic related to the frequency of Nvidia graphics cards, user Panzerlied has mentioned that the base frequency of the RTX 5090 will be around 2.9 GHz. Meanwhile, the frequency of GeForce RTX 4090, as one of the fastest graphics cards today, is 2.55 GHz.

If this information is correct, it should be said that the RTX 5090 graphics card will offer a very high processing speed with a 30% improvement over the previous series.

Also, Nvidia will use GDDR7 memory in its new series of graphics cards. This means RTX 5090 works 30% faster in terms of retracing and rasterization.

Of course, it should be said that Nvidia has not yet shared any official information with its partners, and all these specifications may change in the future. However, rumors suggest that the GeForce RTX 5090 will be a significant improvement over the previous series. Both the RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards will be released later this year.

However, Nvidia may delay the launch until early 2025. AMD and Intel will release their next-generation processors in the same time frame, and an attractive competition will be formed.
