Tokyo's objection to the entry of a Chinese ship into Japan's territorial waters

According to the international group of Tasnim News Agency, after the entry of a Y-9 intelligence plane of the Chinese Air Force into the airspace of Japan during the past days and the protest of the Japanese government, the Ministry of Defense of this country announced the illegal entry of a mapping vessel of the Chinese Navy. It has temporarily entered Japan's territorial waters near Kagoshima Prefecture. The Japanese government has officially communicated its protest to China through diplomatic channels.

The Ministry of Defense of Japan reported: This Chinese Navy surveying vessel was moving eastward in the waters adjacent to Kochino-e Rabu Island in Kagoshima Prefecture at around 5:00 a.m. today, and entered the territorial waters in the southwest of this island at around 6:00 a.m. And it remained there for approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. This ship left the waters of Japan around 7:53 and continued south.

According to the Japanese authorities, after this incident, the Japanese Navy and Air Force sent a minesweeper and an anti-submarine aircraft to monitor and collect information.

This incident is the 10th entry of Chinese naval ships into Japanese waters this year and the 13th entry of Chinese ships, including submarines and intelligence vessels, into Japanese waters. The Ministry of Defense of Japan has emphasized in a statement published on social media: The Japanese Defense Forces will resolutely defend Japan's territory, territorial waters, and airspace.

Japan claims that the purpose of China's actions is to monitor the seabed to help the activities of Chinese military submarines, and considers these actions a threat to Japan's security. The Japanese government considers China's actions completely unacceptable and has announced that it has seriously protested to Beijing.

Following the entry of the Chinese Y-9 military plane into Japan's airspace in recent days, the Japanese authorities had also demanded an explanation from Beijing. Nevertheless, the arrival of this Chinese military surveying ship on the last day has increased the sensitivity of the authorities and the Ministry of Defense of Japan even more.

Beijing, in response to the statements of the Japanese authorities and by repeating its positions, declared: We are in contact with Japan through diplomatic channels. We emphasize that we have no intention to enter the air or water space of any country. China has always respected the sovereignty of countries and asked not to misinterpret these events.

These events show that tensions between China and its neighbors over military activities in border and disputed areas are increasing day by day.
