Trump claimed: I did not want to harm the Iranian people

According to ISNA’s online news report, Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, who is trying to be reinstated in the White House, repeated his claims against regional policies in an election rally in the state of Michigan, referring to the sanctions that his administration issued against Iran. Iran paid and said that these sanctions stopped Iran’s behavior.

Trump claimed: With these sanctions, no one could buy their oil, and if they did, they would not be able to do business in the United States.

He also claimed: I didn’t want to harm the people of Iran, the only thing I wanted was for Iran not to have nuclear weapons.

While Donald Trump claims that he did not seek to harm the Iranian people, he unilaterally withdrew from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2018 and then imposed severe economic sanctions against Iran.
