US antitrust investigation against Formula One

According to Eviralnews, the US Department of Justice has started an antitrust investigation against Liberty Media (the owner of Formula One) for refusing to accept Andretti's request for the American team in this competition.

Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei said the organization is open to providing any information regarding Andretti's decision. We will cooperate and are ready to provide any information required. Our decision was consistent with all U.S. antitrust laws, and we detailed the rationale in previous statements.

Previously, some Formula One teams expressed their opposition to the addition of a new participant to these competitions.
