Warning to Manchester City; Wait for the points to be deducted!

While no one knows what the ultimate punishment will be if found guilty, there have been discussions of heavy fines, points deductions and even relegation. If they do not agree with the decision, City lawyers can extend the process by filing an appeal. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola, the head coach of City, announced this week that the club will accept whatever sentence is issued.

“What will happen? The club will probably face a big points deduction. There are 115 charges and they can't be innocent on all of them.”

However, Gray does not expect City's championship titles to be taken away from them. He added: “I don't think they will take the championship titles from them, so what can they do?” They can deduct points or fine them. Fines do not matter. They can fine City as much as they want, it doesn't matter to Manchester City because they can easily pay the amount. Therefore, the only thing that can be done is to deduct a large point and a heavy fine.”

Guardiola's men have won their opening two Premier League games and face West Ham United on Saturday.
