According to Mehr reporter, quoted by Tas, Dmitry Krutoythe ambassador of Belarus in Russia, announced that during the last year, 92% of trade relations between the two countries were conducted in national currencies other than dollars.
During an interview with the ONT TV channel, he added: 92% of trade between Russia and Belarus is done in rubles, and this is a big figure. We have not experienced such a volume of exchange in national currencies before.
According to this Belarusian diplomat, over the past 2 years, Belarusian exports to Russia have increased by 8.5 billion dollars.
