China's announcement of readiness to help refugees deported from Pakistan

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal”, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban government, said that China has announced its readiness to help the refugees deported from Pakistan.

In a conversation with “Bakhtar”, he stated that the Chinese government has committed to help 100 million yen for the refugees deported from Pakistan.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of the Taliban government noted that the Chinese officials made this declaration of readiness in the third meeting of the political deputies of the Foreign Ministry in Beijing and Kabul.

Despite widespread reactions, the government of Pakistan announced the beginning of the second process of expelling Afghan refugees on April 15.

According to Pakistani media reports, 800,000 people are expected to return to Afghanistan in the second phase of forced deportation of Afghan refugees.

Pakistan first started the process of deporting immigrants who did not have any residence and immigration documents, in the new stage, immigrants with Afghan citizenship cards will be deported, and in the third stage, asylum seekers who have UN immigration cards will be deported.

Aid agencies report that deported refugees face a lack of shelter, food and job opportunities in Afghanistan.
