Germany will go to The Hague on the charge of “genocide” in the Gaza war
Nicaragua has sued the German government to the International Court of Justice for “facilitating the perpetration of genocide” by Israel against the Palestinians.
According to the policy group of the Anna Science and Technology News Agency, the government of Nicaragua has asked the judges of this judicial institution to take emergency measures to prevent the sending of German arms aid to Israel and other support from Berlin to this country.
In response to Nicaragua's lawsuit against his country, German Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer said that Berlin rejects the accusations. He said: “Germany has not violated either the Genocide Convention or international humanitarian regulations. We will show this before the International Court of Justice.”
Nicaragua is supposed to defend its legal position before the International Court of Justice on Monday. On Tuesday, the representatives of the German government will have the opportunity to respond to this organization affiliated to the United Nations.
