Grossi expressed hope to receive more information about Iran's nuclear program before June

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, referring to his recent talks with Iranian officials, noted: The Agency hopes to receive more information about Tehran's nuclear program before the meeting of the Governing Council.

According to the Anna Science and Technology News Agency's policy group, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said in an interview with the Sputnik news agency: The agency hopes to receive more information about Iran's nuclear program before the meeting of the Board of Governors in June.

The director general of the agency stated: We have had a dialogue period in Tehran to present a number of technical achievements that I think are necessary. Therefore, we can increase the transparency and verification of the information that Iran has to provide.

He went on to say that “I am persistent at the technical level and I hope we can get results” and added: “Otherwise, I believe that we may face problems again.” So, I am really hopeful and hope that we will achieve concrete results before the next meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors (in June).

Grossi also noted that the agency hopes to receive answers to some of its questions without mentioning Iran's continuous cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog.
