The first trailer of the movie Wildcat has been released

Recently, the first trailer of the movie Wildcat, directed by Ethan Hawke, has been released, which portrays the life of an American writer named Flannery O'Connor.

Wildcat follows the young Flannery O'Connor, played by Maya Hawke, as she goes through the process of writing and publishing her first novel. Aside from writing, he is also a devout Catholic who struggles with how to keep his art and faith from becoming a problem while also battling lupus. You can watch this trailer below.

At the beginning of the trailer, we see O'Connor's storytelling describing a bitter and violent scene from his stories. Although he is talented in storytelling, he does not have a very good relationship with his mother and her mother does not support him very much. When she gets lupus, she escapes more into the world of writing so she can write more stories when she has the time. Overall, this story is about following your passion even when it seems like the world has ended.

Ethan Hawke is directing Wildcat and also writing the script with Shelby Gaines. The main actress of this film will be Ethan Hawke's own daughter, Maya Hawke.

Wildcat movie on May 3 (May 14) will be released in cinemas.
