The man who set himself on fire in front of Trump's trial has died

A man who set himself on fire in front of Donald Trump's trial on Friday died in hospital overnight, a New York police spokesman said. Authorities had previously said he was in critical condition.

According to the political group of the Anna Science and Technology News Agency, the man who set himself on fire in front of the historic trial court of Donald Trump died after his physical condition worsened.

This happened on Friday in front of the Manhattan court while the process of selecting the members of the jury for the trial of the first former president in the history of the United States in a criminal case was completed.

In a report, Reuters pointed out that the said person died only hours after this incident due to severe injuries caused by severe burns, citing American officials that it does not seem that the purpose of his action was Donald Trump.

A NYPD spokesman said the man died overnight at a hospital. Authorities had previously said he was in critical condition.

According to witnesses, the man took out some typed leaflets from his backpack and threw them in the air, then poured liquid on himself and set himself on fire.

One of the pamphlets referred to “evil billionaires,” but the parts seen by the Reuters witness did not mention Trump.
