In this meeting, the parties discussed bilateral and regional relations and issues in addition to emphasizing BRICS capacities as an important multilateral agreement.

Ali Bagheri, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, also had a separate meeting with Chang, the special representative of the Chinese President.
Bagheri said in this meeting: BRICS has shown that it has the initiative to play roles in the scene and the mobility of the member countries in the framework of multilateralism.
In this meeting, the Chinese side also condemned the Israel regime's attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus and said: We thank Iran for its actions in defending the rights of the Palestinian people and we consider Iran's actions in the region worthy.
