Biography of Susani Samarkandi
Shams al-Din Taj al-Shaara Mohammad bin Ali Samarkandi, who is better known as Suzni Samarkandi, is one of the Iranian poets in the 6th century of Hijri. In his poems, he introduced himself by the names of Muhammad, Omar, and Boubaker, and also called himself Hakim Suzani.
Aufy Nasaf considers his birthplace to be Nakhshab near Samarkand. His father Suzni Samarqandi, who was known as Masoud, was also active in the field of poetry, he attributes himself to Salman Farsi in his poems.
At the beginning of his youth, he went to Bukhara for science and knowledge, and according to Aufy, he was engaged in learning that craft because of his desire to become a needlework student. Sozni Samarqandi was among the contemporaries of Arslan Khan Mohammad from Al Afrasiab and Sanjaz Atsezban Mohammad Khwarazmshah.
Amaq Bukhari, Sanai Ghaznavi, Anuri Abivardi, Mohammad Moazi, Adib Saber and Rashidi were among the contemporaries of Suzni Samarkandi, and some of them ridiculed him and hurt him with their sharp tongues. Sozni Samarkhandi was a syllabic poet who created special meanings in syllabic words. His poems and pieces are simple, clear and eloquent. Of course, it has been stated that he stopped satirizing and asking for forgiveness at the end of his life.

Suzani was one of the master poets of his time who did not care about anyone in his satire, as a result, no one was spared from his sharp tongue. A third of this poet's divan was also formed by these syllables. Susni Samarkandi's poems are very simple, fluent and sweet, and even in his divan, not a single difficult or complicated verse is found.
Susni Samarkandi's death
His death was written by Reza Qoli Khan Hedayat in 562 and Dolatshah Samarkandi in 569, and it is clear from the poet's poems that he lived in 560.
