Bloober Team and Take Two are collaborating on a new IP
In addition to this project, Bloober Team seems to be working on another game based on one of Skybound Entertainment's IPs.
Bloober Team currently has two projects under construction. The name of the first project is Project C and it is going through development stages in collaboration with Take Two. Another work called Project R is based on one of Skybound Entertainment's IPs and belongs to the creator of The Walking Dead franchise, Robert Kirkman, and is scheduled for release in 2025.
At the moment, Bloober Team has not revealed more information and according to the studio's annual report, these are only part of their plan after the development of Silent Hill 2 Remake is completed.
Also, in the annual report, this studio stated that the development of Project C in cooperation with Take Two has gone well and the developers are satisfied with the work on this project. These are all part of the studio's plan to implement new strategies. Bloober Team hopes to unveil Project C later this year.
Next, we expect to see the first appearance of Project R in 2025, although this date probably does not correspond to the full release of the game.
The Bloober Team studio addressed its shareholders about Project R as follows:
On December 20, 2023, a contract was signed with Skybound Entertainment and we have been given the license to make a game based on one of the IPs belonging to this studio. This license is considered part of the development of Project R.
Also, according to this annual report, the Bloober Team studio is excited about making Silent Hill 2 Remake and is fully confident in the final product.
