Since April 26, 2023, when the battle between the army and the rapid reaction forces began, more than 16,000 civilians have lost their lives, while 25 million people in Sudan are in need of humanitarian aid.

International humanitarian organizations have warned that millions of Sudanese are facing a humanitarian disaster due to lack of food and medicine, which could lead them to starvation and death.
