Israel should seize the opportunity to negotiate a ceasefire

One of the leaders of Hamas, while criticizing America's negative portrayal of the cessation of the Gaza war, warned the Zionist regime to seize the opportunity for negotiations to establish a ceasefire.

“Osame Hamdan”, one of the leaders of Hamas, emphasized that this movement strongly seeks the end of the war in Gaza and has used all its efforts to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Hamdan said in this context: “Hamas has presented its general view on the ceasefire and the issue of prisoner exchange and has shown a lot of flexibility. “For now, the ball is in Israel's court.”

“Majed Al-Ansari”, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, in announcing the latest developments in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations in Doha, said: “It is still too early to talk about progress in the negotiations; But we are optimistic about this.

Al-Ansari also emphasized: the talks in Doha were focused on humanitarian aid and reaching a temporary ceasefire agreement. Negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners with the mediation of Qatar and Egypt are currently being held in Doha, and Tel Aviv has recently announced that it has sent a delegation to Qatar for negotiations.

Hamdan stated that “Israel should seize this opportunity and stop procrastination and deception”, and clarified: “Yesterday, the mediators conveyed to us Israel's position regarding the Hamas proposal. Israel's answer was generally negative.

This Hamas leader noted: We are monitoring Israel's behavior. In every round of negotiations, Israel increases its crimes against our nation, but what it has not achieved through war, it will not achieve through political deception.

In the end, Hamdan addressed America and said: “If the American government is serious about stopping the massacre in Gaza, it should stop sending weapons and equipment.” Israel's crimes and mass killings in Gaza will not bring any victory to Netanyahu and the Israeli army.
