“Mohammed Mustafa” was commissioned to form the cabinet of the self-governing organization

According to Khabar Online, “Mahmoud Abbas” appointed the head of the self-governing organization “Mohammed Mustafa” to form the cabinet of technocrats.

The text of the ruling appointing Mahmoud Abbas Mustafa as the official to form the cabinet states: “We have decided to elect you as the prime minister and entrust you with the formation of the 19th government within the period stipulated in the constitution.”

Last month, “Mohammed Ashtiyeh” resigned after four years as the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority.

According to ISNA, Mohammad Mustafa was born in 1954 (69 years old) and has been a member of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) since 2022.

He was also the deputy prime minister and minister of economy in previous governments and has been the head of the Palestine Investment Fund since 2005.
