Playstation Store Bestsellers in Xbox Gamefare Conquest

The CEO of Microsoft recently talked about the presence of Xbox games on other platforms. He said that Xbox titles have performed well on the PlayStation Store.

Satya Nadella said:

Earlier this month, we owned 7 of the 25 best-selling games on the PlayStation Store, more than any other publisher.

He seems to be referring to a recent Tweaktown report showing the best-selling games on Sony's digital store as of April 18. According to this report, including titles published by Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda and Activision, in the list of top 25 games, Microsoft has more games (7 games) than even Sony (5 games).

However, the PlayStation Store bestseller list is updated daily and varies by geographic region. For example, at the time of writing this text, in the top 25 games in Europe, 6 titles belong to Microsoft.

The CEO of Microsoft added:

Microsoft is committed to bring high-quality games to users of different platforms.

Given the good performance of some of Microsoft's recent ported titles on the PlayStation, it seems that we will see more leaps in this field in the future.

It's also important to note that the strong return of the Fallout series definitely explains part of Microsoft's success story on this list.
