Rumor: Capcom is secretly working on a new IP

From Resident Evil to Street Fighter, Capcom has an impressive collection of popular and successful IPs. Now it seems that this company is working on a new product.

According to rumors, this new game is called The Descendants. This information is obtained from the resume of an actress named Bekka Prewitt, who has worked with Capcom in the past, and in particular played the role of Bela Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village. According to his resume seen on Actor Access, Prewitt is playing a supporting role as an unnamed character in a Capcom game called The Descendants.

Unsurprisingly, not much else has been mentioned about the game, and of course the name doesn't really give us much of a clue. Some believe that the name of the game refers to the new version of Deep Down, while there is also the possibility that The Descendants is just a code name for it and the game will eventually be released under a different title.
