Sales and download statistics of first-party PlayStation titles have been revealed
Following the latest leaks related to last year's Insomniac Games website hack, it seems that a detailed view of the sales and downloads of Sony's first-party titles on the PlayStation Store has been revealed.
According to documents recently shared on ResetEra, you can take a look at the most detailed PSN statistics. More specifically, the amount of sales and digital downloads of Sony's first-party titles, from the time the PlayStation Store started working until mid-2023, has been completely determined.
For example, The Last of Us Part 2 has generated $242 million in revenue by mid-2023 and has been digitally downloaded about 6.3 million times. The Spider Man game has also been downloaded 8.3 million times and its revenue has been recorded at 315 million dollars.
In this list, the names of 500 other games can be seen, among which classic and handheld PlayStation titles can be seen. In contrast to bigger successes, we can mention the statistics of MediEvil/Syphon Filter – Dual Pack for PlayStation 3 console, which was downloaded only 10 times against a net income of 60 million dollars.
It seems we are witnessing one of the most comprehensive and detailed leaks in the history of the video game industry.
