Among a number of recent hits like Palworld and Helldivers 2, two service-oriented titles seem to have failed to hit the mark this year. Both Skull and Bones and Suicide Squad were released in February and have underperformed in terms of critical acclaim and player retention.

Despite Ubisoft's claim that Skull and Bones has set a record for attracting players, a report from Forbes shows that the game did not perform well. Suicide Squad was announced as the most experienced PlayStation title in February, but Skull and Bones barely made it to the top 10 list. In addition, the PlayStation Blog has provided complete information on the sales of games for the month of February.

Suicide Squad ranked third among the best-selling games in February in the US/Canada region. However, Skull and Bones took the 8th spot on the list. It should be noted that both the aforementioned games have recently received significant discounts.

It's no secret that Suicide Squad has lost a lot of players on PC. However, Skull and Bones isn't available on Steam right now, and it's difficult to compare numbers on that platform. Both Warner Bros. and Ubisoft had high hopes for these two games, but neither seems to have been able to emerge as a hit among service-oriented titles.
