The Hamas delegation left Cairo without an agreement

Hamas announced in a statement that its delegation left Cairo, while the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza continue until an agreement is reached with the Zionist regime.

According to Al-Quds al-Arabi report, it is stated in this statement: The Hamas delegation left Cairo today to consult with the leadership of the movement. At the same time, negotiations and efforts to stop the aggression, return the prisoners and deliver relief aid to our people continue.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera news agency, citing its sources, reported that the negotiations in Cairo ended without reaching an agreement, and the mediators between Hamas and the Zionist regime tried to bridge the gap between the two sides, but their efforts did not succeed.

This news agency said that the Zionist regime rejected Hamas's request for a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of its army from the Gaza Strip, and the unconditional return of the refugees. At the same time, a senior Hamas official said that the Zionist regime insists on refusing to stop the aggression and withdrawal and to guarantee the freedom of the arrival of aid and the return of refugees.

Another official source told the Egyptian channel “Cairo News” that negotiations to reach a ceasefire in Gaza before the month of Ramadan are continuing between all parties. The official said that the Hamas delegation has already left Cairo for consultations, but the talks will resume next week.
