Zelensky announced the escalation of conflict with Russia in Kharkiv and Donetsk
The President of Ukraine announced on Sunday night that there were heavy clashes with Russian forces in many parts of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
According to the Ana Science and Technology Policy Group, Zelensky said in his nightly message: “Defensive battles and heavy clashes continue in many parts of the border areas.”
He added: The aim of the attack on Kharkiv region is to expand the scope of our forces' activities to other regions and to weaken the morale, motivation and defense capability of these forces.
Zelensky stated: Some villages in the Kharkiv region have turned from a gray zone into a conflict zone. The occupier tries to strengthen his foothold in some of these villages and use some other villages to advance further.
