Durrani: Pakistan has suffered more from Afghanistan than India

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Asif Ali Khan Durrani”, Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan affairs, referring to the increase in suicide attacks and attacks by TTP militants in this country, said that Pakistan has more economic and security benefits from Afghanistan than the three wars it had with India. has been harmed.

At the international meeting “Pakistan in the emerging geopolitical landscape” which was organized by the Islamabad Institute of Strategic Studies and the German “Friedrich Ebert” Institute, Durrani once again repeated these accusations that the Taliban support the TTP.

He added that over the past two decades, more than 80,000 Pakistanis have been killed in the war against terrorism, and this process is still ongoing.

Durrani has pointed out: “The attacks of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban on the border areas of Pakistan have increased by 65% and suicide attacks by 500%.”

He stated: After the withdrawal of foreign forces, there was hope that peace in Afghanistan would lead to peace in the region, but such expectations were short-lived.

This senior Pakistani diplomat had previously claimed that TTP receives money from India through Afghan representatives and estimates that 5,000 to 6,000 TTP militants have taken refuge in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Taliban government has always denied the claim of supporting and sheltering the TTP and emphasized that Afghanistan does not allow anyone to use the country's soil against others and that Islamabad should not blame Kabul for its security failures.

The end of the message.
