One of the most prominent and successful series of the Netflix online service in recent years is the “Witcher” series, which has been aired for three seasons and the production of its fourth season has recently started. However, apparently plans to expand the franchise are not going well.

According to newly published reports, the Netflix online service no longer intends to make spinoffs of the series “The Witcher” and has canceled two projects in development. These two projects have also been a pre-grossing series called The Rats as well as an untitled children's spin-off.

The Rats is set to star Dolph Lundgren, Ben Radcliffe, Crystal Elwyn, Fabian McCallum, Aggie Kay Adams, Juliette Alexandra, Connor Crawford and Steve Marks. The Rats appeared at the end of the third season of “The Witcher” and are a group of unexpected young people who turned to a life of crime because of the war.

Meanwhile, the Netflix online service recently announced that the “Witcher” series is going to end its work with the fifth season. The fourth and fifth seasons of the “Witcher” series will be played by Liam Hemsworth, unlike the first three seasons, which starred Henry Quill as Geralt of Rivia.
