Pakistan rejected Afghanistan's offer to talk with TTP

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, stated that the country does not talk with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and continues to fight against this group.

Previously, “Mohammad Nabi Omari”, the Deputy Minister of Interior of the Taliban government, suggested that the government of Pakistan should talk with the TTP to solve the internal problems of this country.

Referring to the conflicts in Pakistan, he said that war has no victory and leaves a ruined country.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan emphasized that the government of Islamabad expected the government of Kabul to take serious measures against the “terrorist group of TTP”.

“Ahmad Shakib”, the Taliban government's agent in Pakistan, said in a television interview that Afghanistan will not allow anyone to use this land against others.

He had emphasized that the Afghan government's mediation between the government of Islamabad and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban does not mean giving shelter to this group in Afghanistan.

Shakib told Tolo News that the Afghan government has taken necessary steps to address the concerns of the Pakistani government.
