Pakistani protestors' support for non-forced deportation of Afghan refugees

According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, people in Pakistan's Balochistan held a protest meeting with the aim of canceling the traffic ban and supporting Afghan refugees.

The protesters, who are mostly from Muslim Bagh, Lorelai, and Saifullah Fort areas in Balochistan province, declared their support for the Chaman protest movement and warned that if their demands are not addressed, they will start wider protests.

“Arif Khan Kakar”, the organizer of the protest march in Balochistan, said in this gathering: “Our demand from Pakistan is to stop the process of forced deportation of Afghan refugees.”

Sadiq Khan, the spokesperson of the Chaman protest movement, also stated: If Islamabad and Kabul want to settle Quetta and Kandahar and want to have good relations with Afghanistan, this is possible through peace and security.

Recently, in addition to banning movement between tribal areas on both sides of the disputed “Durand” border, Pakistan has also started the process of deporting Afghan refugees.

According to Pakistani media reports, in this process, refugees with Afghan POR cards, which number about 850,000 people, are to be deported from Pakistan.

The end of the message.
