If we take a look at Tango Gameworks' portfolio, we will notice the presence of games such as The Evil Within, Ghostwire: Tokyo and their latest creation, HiFI Rush.

It was almost last month that it was revealed that Shinji Mikami has established a new studio. Recently, in an interview with a Japanese YouTube channel called Byking, he described his plans and goals for the future.

According to reports from Automaton media and Byking channel, Shinji Mikami has been planning to leave Tango Gameworks studio for eight years, but every time he has refused this decision because of his sense of responsibility and work on the studio's games.

He always wanted to create an environment for young developers to create games that have a short development time. Also, according to him, shorter games will attract a much larger audience.

Shinji Mikami is well known for directing the first version of Resident Evil, its remake for the GameCube console in 2002 and finally the revolutionary game Resident Evil 4. He has also mentioned the withdrawal from making horror games as another reason for leaving Tango Gameworks studio.

Before leaving Tango Gameworks studio, Shinji Mikami clarified his position:

I was the CEO for only six months. A lot of people think I'm an agent or something, but I'm more like a first class employee. The producer was attached to my name, but I did not look like an executive.

2020, Shinji Mikami talked about his ideas for making his latest game. He also mentioned that he has no shortage of ideas and his ideas are not limited to the horror genre.
