The visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan stated in a statement that the Prime Minister of this country, Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, has left for Saudi Arabia to participate in the special meeting of the World Economic Forum on global cooperation, growth and energy, which is being held in Riyadh.

According to this announcement, Shehbaz Sharif's trip will take place following the invitation of “Mohammed bin Salman”, the Saudi Crown Prince and “Klas Schwab”, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of the World Economic Forum.

The special meeting of the World Economic Forum is scheduled to be held in Riyadh from April 28 to 29.

The announcement adds that Shahbaz Sharif will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation including Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation will discuss issues related to trade and investment measures, new investment frameworks, supply chain restructuring, sustainable growth and energy outlook.

The notice added that on the sidelines of the main meeting, the Prime Minister of Pakistan and his accompanying delegation will have bilateral meetings with the heads of the world countries, including the heads of Saudi Arabia and the heads of international organizations.
